Updates and Winners

Hey, Friend!

This is turning out to be a busy week between work, bike riding with my kiddos, helping my husband work on our deck, and trying to keep up with at least the dishes and laundry.

Yesterday I missed my Kira Stokes workout because my son worked endlessly to achieve Deadpool in his Lego Marvel game, holding the TV hostage. He teased me all day by telling me when he was one gold brick closer. Sadly for me, he needed 200, or something crazy like that. I instituted a new rule—he couldn’t use the TV until after I worked out with Kira. It worked. Today, I feel energized and ready to take on the world.

Good thing because I have edits back from my editor that I’m eager to incorporate in one of my newest books. Unfortunately, it still doesn’t have a title. If you have any suggestions, please list them in the comments. It’s about Grady, a Navy SEAL on leave who falls for a woman who turns out to be one of this fallen SEAL brother’s widow…Get this…Grady promised his brother he’d step into his place if anything happened to him. The catch—Grady never met her and he was supposed to step in six years ago, but his own issues kept him doing what he knows best— protecting others.
